Installing Railings.
The SeniorSafe Way

SeniorSafe has a long track record of installing high quality and custom-suited safety railings that meet our clients' specific needs.

At SeniorSafe, providing unparalleled service to clients is paramount. It is important that the three following criteria are met before installing a ralling in your home.

  • Does the client's grip match the railing's diameter?
A railing isn't safe if it can't be held properly. The diameter of the handrail should suit the ability to grasp.

  • Is the railing's height suited to the client's height?

Railings that are too high or low won't provide the needed leverage to support body weight, especially for seniors suffering from arthritis or reduced strength

  • Railings should be installed on both sides on the stairway.
We strongly recommend it! Clients sometimes wonder if it's necessary. They worry that there's not enough room to move furniture Our standard reply is: Would you rather fall down the stairs and suffer from a serious accident? Railings can be temporarily moved if necessary, but injures can be permanent.
